About LEE'S Camera Center

Lee Lintner opened Lee’s Camera Center in downtown Ephrata, PA in 1973. In a short 5 years he outgrew the Main Street shop and built a 4-store complex further up Main Street where it is located today.

Over the years Lee and his dedicated staff have enjoyed learning and growing with the ever-changing world of photography. Customers appreciate the knowledgeable staff and “down home approach”.

Interesting dates in LEE'S Camera history:

• 2011 — Added a computerized mat cutter to the custom framing department..
           — Added two computers with internet hookup for customers to use IMAGINE in the store
           — Lee's Camera Center goes green!  Lee adds 220 solar panels to the roof of the store, generating our own electricity!


• 2010 — Lee initiates IMAGINE home ordering system. Create prints, posters, photo books, canvases, cards, gifts and more from the comfort of your home.
• 2009 — Added two more additional Images Boxes to bring total to six.
• 2006 — Addition of 4 Self-Service Image Boxes
  
• 2005 — Complete store remodeling
• 2004 — Installed self-service image box

• 2002 — winner of Readers' Choice Awards in Lancaster Newspapers for "Favorite place to Purchase Photo Processing and Supplies"

• 2001 — sales of Multi-media Equipment and Home Theatres

• 2000 — over-size poster prints in house (up to 40" x 60")

• 1999 — full digital services

• 1991 — custom black & white processing

• 1985 — in-store film processing

• 1980 — in-store teaching studio - perhaps the only camera center in the country where when you purchase your camera at the Ephrata store, classes were offered for FREE! LEE'S store motto is “Where We Teach You How” and we mean it!
